Verdict - Robust, malty English Ale. Certainly better on tap, but what isn't, especially when it's brewed a few metres from where it's sold? Nonetheless, nice to be able to buy Nelson's products elsewhere. Unfortunately quite pricy, so maybe better to head direct to the brewery and enjoy it up there.
